Rolebase

Apps & Integrations

Connect Rolebase with your calendar and stay in sync.

Overview

Rolebase integrates with external tools to keep your workflow connected. Currently supported integrations include calendar sync with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Calendar.

Calendar Integrations

Calendar integrations allow Rolebase meetings to appear directly in your preferred calendar app. When a meeting is created, updated, or deleted in Rolebase, the change is reflected in your connected calendar.

Office 365

To connect Office 365:

  1. Go to your account settings or the organization’s apps section.
  2. Select Office 365.
  3. You will be redirected to Microsoft’s login page.
  4. Sign in and grant Rolebase permission to access your calendar.
  5. Once authorized, Rolebase meetings are synced to your Outlook calendar.

Google Calendar

To connect Google Calendar:

  1. Go to your account settings or the organization’s apps section.
  2. Select Google Calendar.
  3. You will be redirected to Google’s consent screen.
  4. Sign in and grant Rolebase permission to manage calendar events.
  5. Once authorized, Rolebase meetings appear in your Google Calendar.
Info Circle Permissions

Both integrations request only the minimum calendar permissions needed. You can revoke access at any time from your Microsoft or Google account settings.

What Gets Synced

ItemSynced?
Meeting titleYes
Date and timeYes
Recurring scheduleYes
ParticipantsYes
Meeting linkYes
Tasks and threadsNo (use Rolebase directly)

iCal Export

Even without connecting a calendar app, you can export meetings as iCal feeds. Copy the iCal URL and subscribe to it from any calendar app that supports .ics subscriptions. The feed updates automatically when meetings change.

Lamp On Subscribe, Don't Download

Use your calendar app’s “subscribe to calendar” feature (not “import”) so that updates are synced automatically.

For Developers

If you want to build custom integrations with Rolebase (sync tasks with external tools, build bots, create dashboards), check the Developers section and the Custom Integrations guide.
